It can all seem like too much when you're trying to map out your big day! You have to make such big decisions in a matter of time. You have to purchase his ring, his suit, your dress, hair and makeup, food, timeline, wedding photographer, and not to mention, THE VENUE! As a photographer, I've seen a lot, I've been behind the scenes at so many places. I know the ins+outs of several locations. So let me try and take the load off by listing 5 Wedding Venues in and around Tulsa County. I would refer all of these locations to any and everyone! 1.The Cove at Shell Lake, Sand Springs
This is a very classic and quaint Wedding Venue in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Just off of Shell Creek Lake, it offers a beautiful scenery as well as a gorgeous outdoor gazebo. There is a building on-site for the bride and groom to get ready in and it's very welcoming. Not to mention the night time esthetic! It's a lovely place, fit for any Engaged Couple that loves the outdoors! Hints* that's why my husband and I got married here! ❤ Our photo is last, if you'd like to see! 2. Stokely Event Center, Tulsa
If you live in Tulsa or have even visited, you've seen this place from the Broken Arrow Expressway or 169! I remember seeing it throughout my childhood and thinking all the old signs were so cool! I never imagined that it was an actual Tulsa Event Center, let alone YOU CAN GET MARRIED THERE!!! I didn't know that until I photographed a wedding here and you betcha I was so excited to get the privilege of doing that job. Stokely Event Center is one heck of a Wedding Venue right in the heart of Tulsa. It's perfect for anyone who is a lover of old things or it could potentially be the perfect Wedding Venue for a Rock and Roll Couple! Even to visit for a tour is pretty sweet!
When choosing a Wedding Venue, picking that special one that suits your needs is crucial (obviously!). But when it comes to Green Leaf Barn in BA, it really just comes down to two things. 1 - Do you want to get married in (or outside of) a barn and 2 - Are you looking for the Best Wedding Venue for Golden Hour Photos? These owners carefully laid out these landscaping details so lovely, making sure the pond is smack dab between the venue and the Oklahoma Sunset. On the inside, it's perfect for a creative mind! A huge blank canvas to work with has its perks!
This Wedding Venue is a Hidden Gem! Tucked away in Creek County is this GORGEOUS Oklahoma Wedding Venue! I have not had the pleasure just yet to take photos at this location, but I have been to a wedding here. It is yet another blank canvas barn with stunning views. Just lining the J Cross Ranch, you feel like you're getting married straight out of a Yellowstone Episode, minus the Montana mountains and add the Oklahoma humidity.
Guys! Does this not look like a place straight out of a fairytale? I've photographed a baby babyshower here, but I CANNOT WAIT to photography a wedding here! When I tell you this made me think of the Twilight Wedding Scene... It's the perfect Wedding Venue for Engaged Couples that are a sucker for Nature! The little trail that runs throughout the space is so charming and warm. Literally makes me want to cuddle up with a book on one of the tree swings. It's only five turns away from downtown Tulsa! I say go take a tour!
